Ken and Lona,

Clear Point therapy has made a significant difference in my life, allowing me to keep on working at age 63 1/2 instead of being at home nursing a chronic illness. It is great for depression and anxiety as well as physical challenges.

I am grateful to Ken for feeling better than I have for several years, but mostly for 2 significant healings. 6 weeks ago I was diagnosed with 60% renal stenosis. The specialist advised me to have immediate surgery to place a stint into my kidney. The risk of a of stroke and continued treatment with long-term blood thinners was very scary.  Instead of immediate surgery, I had   2 or 3 Clear Point sessions prior to the pre-surgical MRI.  Ken found and treated some bacteria.................... .   When the surgeon came in the room to tell me  that my MRI was completely NORMAL, he was very glum and could not understand what happened.  I am so grateful to Ken for helping me to avoid surgery. 

The second amazing healing involved 2 remote partial sessions for my son age 35 last year.   He was hospitalized for 9 months, 8 months in ICU with an invasive MRCA infection that was shutting down all his organs - heart, kidneys, and liver. He was told if he survived, he would lose the use of his right dominant hand; most likely his knees would be frozen and need to be replaced and that he would probably lose the sight in at least one of his eyes.    The doctors wrestled with his heart failure and could not arrest his MRCA infection despite months of very expensive antibiotic treatments. Of course, my son was scared to death and very depressed.

Eric   responded well to the remote Clear Point therapy and   survived with minimal residual complications. Both of his hands are normal. The only residual effect he has is a weaker left knee. It is amazing and shocked all of his doctors. He is back doing labor work, which is quite remarkable.

I am so grateful for Clear Point therapy and the difference it has made in my life.

Ken and Lona,

Recently, when 18 month old Sara, was ill, my husband and I thought we would have to give up our upcoming expensive trip with her to Mexico. She was vomiting and lethargic for days. We did everything we could. We took her to the emergency room, but it was too busy. All the urgent care clinics in the area weren’t taking new people. I finally got her into our regular Dr. late at night. The Dr. touched her tummy and looked in her ears and said she was fine.
I put a call into Ken Holm. He had no days he was working at the time, but offered a remote healing. Within 2 hours of the healing, she went from lethargic to playing outside with her 3 sisters! She rested up the next day. Two days later, we left together for our Mexico trip.

Having been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1999. I needed help with getting up and down, bathing and meals. Dr. suggested I move into assisted living facility soon after diagnoses.

I learned of Ken Holm and Clear Point Therapy, started treatment August 2003 for one year. I improved to being able to live on my own. In April 2004 I left assisted living, to move on my own with no further assistance in any way.

As of today I have gotten off two of the medications, and almost back to where I was at the diagnoses.

Dearest Lona,
As parents of children, we want to protect them and guide them safely through life. Nevertheless, at times, we are unable to do so. Recently, my 13 year old daughter had been exposed to a crisis that no mother would ever want a daughter or son to experience. I knew that she needed help immediately! Our first experience with you was astounding! I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks for the time you have been giving me.

As you know, I am a diabetic with severe enough circulation problems that two health care providers and a vascular surgeon had told me that without immediate surgery (that I couldn't afford) I was going to lose my left leg within 3 months. I couldn't walk as far as 1 block without a great deal of pain caused by a lack of blood flow to the leg muscles. If I tried to run the leg would just "fold up" from under me within 2 steps.

That was 3 1/2 years ago... I not only still have both legs, but my health care provider can now detect a faint pulse in that foot and feeling is returning.

I remember how skeptical I was when we began. I could barely keep a straight face when we discussed the "therapy" you wanted to try. You asked, "What did I have to lose by giving this a try?". Privately, I thought "My LEG is what I have to lose!"

Imagine my surprise the day that the "knot" in my leg let go and I could walk and even run a little without my leg giving out! It was a day that I'll always remember.

My husband and I went to see Ken about a month ago at the suggestion of Ruth in Larry's office. We'd been having a very hard time with chemical sensitivities. Unable to now live in the second house of our choosing and forced to live in our tent, we were desperate.

As I look back now, I realize about 95% of my personal reaction (symptoms) probably came from the panic itself and only 5% from the illness. The first visit to Ken took away the panic. I experienced a lot of new sensations in the areas of my body where injury and illness had occurred in the past, both on the table, while he worked, and for several days afterward. I actually felt a draining sensation on the right side of my neck (Lymph System).

Each treatment was followed by a feeling of elation. One morning I woke up and saw the woods around me as if I'd seen them for the first time as I imagined that the feeling would have been from a child's first experience.

As I walk through my world now, I no longer experience a sense of panic. My symptoms are greatly reduced. Both my husband and I are able to spend longer and longer periods of time in environments we labeled "toxic" before.

The self-treatment Ken taught us immediately relaxes us when we feel old symptoms, reactions coming up.

The world that had closed up around me is beginning to open up again. I can see now that Ken's work is an invaluable link in the healing process.

By trade I am a retired   Medical Technologist with a specialty in Microbiology.
After spending many years studying and working in this "hard science", where we produced test results that helped
diagnose and treat patient illnesses.  During all of these years of pain and depression, my
thoughts of alternative medicine deepened and you introduced me to Energy Medicine, I
purchased a book that I am slowly studying.  Right now I have the attention span of a gnat,
and I do look forward to greater understanding of the work.
 

During the last days of my husband's life, you did remote treatments on both of us and
after his passing, and then treated me again remotely, twice.
 
In summary I can only say that I was sad, but calm, and energized enough to make the
appropriate decisions for the funeral, while previously, I could not even choose the
floral arrangements.

Lona modestly calls herself a therapist, but she is really a healer.  I visited her studio for the first time after reading an article about her work in a local health magazine.  Having never been to a Clear Point Therapist, and not knowing what to expect, I was initially nervous about working with Lona.  In addition, as a Christian, I knew that I could work with a healer only if she respected my faith.
Lona immediately put me at ease during my first session with her.  After leaving her studio, I felt happier and lighter than I had in years.  In fact, I felt so good that I continued to work with her several times a week.  Now, after fewer than 10 sessions with Lona, I feel as though the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders and that I am free to move forward with purpose in my life.  And, not only has Lona helped me, but she has also helped my beloved pets.  My very arthritic dog, who on most days eschewed walking and jumping because of his pain, is now walking with me for miles at a time and jumping and barking like he did when he was a puppy.  This improvement came after he received only two remote treatments from Lona!

on the Summer Weekend, Cannon Beach, 12-14 August

         Stress Relief and Healing Energy Therapist Will Be with Us

   Lona MacDonald of Sumner, a remarkable figure in Clear Point Therapy (Tel. 253 970-1577, http://www.clearpointtherapy.com/index.shtml), will join our weekend to learn Tai Chi and to give a demonstration and complimentary individual mini-sessions for all who wish them.  Then throughout the weekend she will be available for anyone who wants to schedule an appointment.

   If you only want to know what my session with her was like, skip to the bold type below.  If you want to know what went into that experience, read the light type that leads up to it in the following paragraphs.

   It is one thing to hear or read about or to even talk to a genuine therapist, a healer; it is quite another to experience them working on you.  Yesterday I had that experience.  In my teaching, as you might imagine, a lot of contact occurs with those in alternative therapies—particularly energy and healing—so I’ve had a substantial exposure to such sessions.  And, in those where life issues involving one’s mind and emotions in addition to the body’s health were concerned, I’ve not felt much effect because, I think, I’ve been blessed with a robust emotional and mental outlook. 

   Yet Lona did say that everyone, no matter how well put together they are, has some stuff to deal with.  That’s one thing.

   The other is, I’m extremely sympathetic to the rights, sensitivities and downright vulnerabilities my students may feel about their religious or spiritual path and the necessity to have it fully respected by any teacher or healer they may find in fields like Tai Chi and more martial martial arts, Yoga, stress relief, healing, energy.  And I’ve frequently noticed, as I’m sure you have, the hidden agendas such people can insinuate into their relationships with their students or clients.  A very important second thing!

   Lona surprised with both.  She found physical problems known to me that even my very good doctor is unaware of and also their related heart and mind dimensions—then conveyed the healing to them.  She also, being so open and so free from having to convert anyone to her path, found the most central thread of my own path and was able to identify with it in her healing work.        
 
   I have to confess I was benevolently overwhelmed.  She told me afterwards months of work was accomplished—her normal experience in a first session.  My students and colleagues and friends:  she is, I feel, a person for the times in which we are living, and I am most happy and honored to introduce her to you at the Summer Weekend. 

   An indication of her level of work may be suggested by remote sessions she told me she has given as far away as Hawaii with results equal to those done locally in the same room.  Also that her range of accomplishment includes successful action on fibromyalgia, depression, allergies, low self-esteem, Parkinson’s disease, grief and suicidal movements, candida, anorexia and bulimia, sciatica, rape trauma, the trauma of parental sexual and physical abuse, and many more.  It also includes the most serious diseases, publicly unmentionable ones due to government regulations.

Saturday August 27th
(sorry this got delayed - I needed to ask Lona and Julie's permission to use
their names and after they gave it, I thought I'd sent it.)

I want to tell you about a beautiful experience today:  my anxiety level
shrank after I received all your wonderful comments, prayers, good vibes,
rainbows etc on Thursday, Friday and today; I hope I have thanked each and
every one of you, certainly I did in spirit.  There were still remnants of
the anxiety in back waiting to pounce whenever I thought about breast cancer.

This evening whilst I was speaking on the phone to an old friend who now
 lives a whole day's drive away, she asked me how I was feeling now about
 Thursday. I thought for a moment and checked out my feelings, my stomach,
 my neck and shoulders  .... to my astonishment all the tension had evaporated
 and I felt quite comfortable. When I told my friend that I was not feeling
 any anxiety now, I could hardly believe what I was saying and, knowing me as
 she has for 35 years, nor could she.

What I did not know was that Lona had been doing energy work on a listserve friend Julie,
and they had "worked" together on me.  Well, I was a skeptic once and
am surrounded by skeptics - but no longer after this and other experiences on
our list.

How can I explain this?  Talking to this friend is not peaceful as she has
fibromyalgia and cfs among other dis-ease: she is on morphine and is never
pain-free, so my sudden ease was not due to that.  I was hungry and thirsty
and had had a rather nasty experience today when I found out that another
friend has to go into a nursing home to die, so that didn't add to my ease.
My daughter is in the agony of a broken romance, my son....., my
grandchildren..... etc etc.

I feel so blessed; so very much appreciation goes to all of you who wrote and
sent me prayers, reiki, good energy, and now to Lona for her inspirational
"magic" (I use that word as a metaphor although this was truly magical for
me), who found my tension and relieved it completely and to Julie who
"surrogated" for me.

I don't pretend to understand it, yet the relief is tangible; as my grandma
used to say in her wisdom:
"The more I know, I know I know, I know I know the less."
